There are a few Australian NFT projects and artists making their way into the marketplace — we’ve even found a few Tasmanian NFT projects and artists that are starting to make headway with both PFP and 1/1 projects.

We love checking out Aussie projects, but we just can’t go past these artists from Tasmania. Check out some of their work below!

CoDEMON

CoDEMON is a mixed media artist based in southern Tasmania whose work is gaining some attention on Foundation and Rarible. If you’re keen to collect some amazing 1/1 degen art, CoDEMON’s galleries are a good place to start.

OZNIFTY

Oznifty is a Tasmanian animator who produces #GifArt and animated collages. Drawing on figures from classical paintings in the Met Museum’s Open collection, Oznifty drops them into modern settings such as strip clubs and bus malls, playing with the intentions of the original pieces. Flipping from the hazily erotic to the outright weird, Oznifty is one to keep an eye on.

Slick Devils

Slick Devils is a series of 10,000 PFP NFTS. A portion of each sale is donated to charities supporting Tasmanian Devils — you can find out more on their website.

These wicked little PFPs are a must of Aussie NFT traders, and there’s utility coming in the form of a Fight Club style game — Tassie’s finest in a battle for the BBQ scraps.
